In my role as a UX designer, I spearheaded a crucial website redesign project driven by two pivotal factors: the outdated user experience of the original site and the company's recent rebranding initiative. By leveraging UX best practices and aligning the website with the new brand identity, we aimed to elevate user satisfaction and create a cohesive brand experience.
The original website suffered from a severe case of obsolescence, with outdated design patterns, cumbersome navigation, and a lack of intuitive user interactions. This created a significant gap between user expectations and the website's functionality, leading to a subpar user experience and missed business opportunities.
Furthermore, the company had recently undergone a transformative rebrand, with a renewed brand vision, values, and visual identity. It was crucial for the website to align with this new brand direction, as the website serves as a crucial touchpoint for users to interact with the brand. A consistent and cohesive brand experience across all channels, including the website, was imperative for conveying the brand's messaging, enhancing brand recognition, and fostering a strong emotional connection with users.
To ensure the success of the redesign, I employed a user-centered design approach, starting with extensive user research and analysis.
